Located in the heart of Dallas, this rebuilt Tudor style cottage was built in 1927 and was ”reborn” in 2006.  From humble beginnings, this home has seen the M Streets of Dallas come into their renaissance.

With a shotgun entrance view walking through the front door, it’s easy to feel like you’re in the middle of the party regardless of where you are in this house.  Materials include classic rich mahogany hardwood floors, travertine in the kitchen and bathrooms, more Venetian Gold granite counter top space than you will know what to do with, all stainless steel appliances including a built in wine fridge to the kitchen island and a custom backsplash made out of tumbled marble and more over the gas range.

Also, there is a seperate utility room with built in cabinets and clothes rod for drying laundry.  A huge strength comparable to homes from this time period which typically have the washer and dryer located in the garage.

The living area includes a built in media center next to the fire place with a flat screen t.v. above the mantle.  With designer colors including Nomadic Desert and a deep burgundy on one accent wall entering the kitchen, you’ll wonder why you didn’t realize that these should have been your favorite colors long before you saw them together.

The master suite includes his/hers walk in closets with built in shelving and french doors that open up to the patio outside for breathing in the morning sunlight.  The master bath is outfitted with travertine floors with a jetted tub, frameless glass shower and dual his/her sinks opposite the privacy closet for the restroom.

If you like to be outside, there is a deck that extends from the house with built in ground lights for entertaining.  Also, there is a seperate two car garage which is a nice added addition to this historic neighborhood.

Could you call a place like this home?
