There’s a lot of bad news out there, but truth be told, Covenant Realty has seen the majority of its organic growth the last three years.  To frame this a little bit, part of that is because we are an independent brokerage that is in a solid position, mainly because we elected to do business by referral as the back bone of how we work.

I’ll tell you, I’m fired up in this market, because more than ever it is relationally driven right now.   People interested in buying or selling are looking more than ever to professionals they can count when push comes to shove and that is when it counts.  Working by referral isn’t just a nice thought for our business, it’s the only way we run it.   In comparison, I’ve noticed that the internet for real estate is more of a “Plan B” for most when interested in buying or selling their homes.  Like the hair stylist my wife loves, she found her by referral from a friend.  She didn’t go to the internet in hopes of finding the best site with awesome pictures of haircuts on the front page.  How much more is there on the line when participating in a home transcation?  (Some of the ladies with great hair stylists might disagree with me on this. ) :0)
