I felt very safe leaving for Oregon with Ryan Kirkpatrick back in Dallas marketing my home. I’m grateful for the high level of service he offered from his quick response time to his remarkable touch in negotiating the sale. His real estate pedigree truly shines through as his attention to the small details are what made my home move so quickly.

Most agents are strong on the up front selling to their clients to get a listing and once the sign is in the yard, they are hard to reach. He was just the opposite! He somehow raised his level of service even more once the stakes went in the ground. Working with Ryan as well as his brokerage Covenant Realty was so easy, I’m still a little in shock that my home has been sold for the price that it was!

Carolyne Wood

Ryan went above and beyond in locating a home for us. As a new Plano resident, Ryan told us information about neighborhoods and helped us in getting settled. We cannot thank him enough for his help and friendship.

We had recently moved from Florida and were very unfamiliar with the Dallas area housing market when we started house shopping. Our realtor Ryan made things so easy for us. His knowledge of real estate and specifically the real estate in our area was essential to us in our decision on buying a house. He was always very willing to help us and worked with our schedule to make things simple. We put very little effort into the process as everything was laid out for us and clearly explained. We found a house that was exactly what we were looking for and had the satisfaction of knowing that we had gotten a great deal on it! We love our new house and are very blessed to have had such a seamless experience!

We just want to thank you for helping us find our first home. You helped make the buying experience an easy and pleasant one. You were so generous with your time and answered all of questions during our house hunt. I don't know why people say buying a house is stressful, they must of not had a realtor as first-rate as you and your team. We just wanted to thank you again and wish you the best of luck in the future!

I want to express my sincere and grateful satisfaction and appreciation of a job well done. This note is simply to say “Thank You” for the excellent service you provided during my home search. Your outstanding knowledge of the local market as well as your high level of integrity from beginning to end showed me very quickly that there is a vast difference among real estate agents. Thank you for the extra attention you paid during inspection and closing worries. I truly felt as if I was your only client during the home buying process. Please feel free to share this with any prospective clients as assurance of the effective service that you will provide to them when they are in need.

We purchased our home last fall through Ryan Kirkpatrick with Covenant Realty and we have only great things to say. Ryan was very instrumental in making our home purchase. We found him to be well educated and passionate in his field. He was always available to answer our many questions and followed through until settlement.

Ryan’s high standard of ethics was for us very important. We felt that Ryan was truly working on behalf of our best interest and for that we are very appreciative.

We are very happy with our new home and would like to thank Ryan for making it such a positive experience.

I want to say Thank you Ryan for listening to my needs and for guiding me in the purchase of my first home in Prestonwood. Thanks again for showing me what is like to work with a strong capable agent when others had failed me. My experience with the big companies was neglect and incompetence and working with you and Covenant Realty helped me understand customer service at an entirely different level.

I will be referring others your way when the opportunity comes along!

Daniel Askari

Covenant Realty associate Ryan Kirkpatrick helped me find and purchase my first home in the summer of 2009. Covenant Realty was always supportive throughout the process and very flexible around my busy schedule. Ryan was always available for any questions and concerns, which helped assure me that he was truly there to get me in the right home. His passion for his profession is obvious and everyone I met at Covenant Realty dropped what they were doing anytime I went to the office to ensure that my needs were being met. They made me feel like I was buying a million dollar home, when in fact I am just a regular customer. The attention and care they granted me gave me the confidence to move forward in the process and find the best home for the right price. While they were very organized, meticulous, and knowledgeable, my favorite part of the buying experience was the fact that they let me be as involved as I desired. Their website allowed me to easily search through many homes in the areas I desired and Ryan was always ready to educate me on the entire process. In the end, I found an amazing home in the exact area I was looking and Covenant Realty helped me get the house for thousands below market value. I can live comfortably in a lovely home and feel confident in this amazing investment.

About Ryan Kirkpatrick

Formative Years

I was born and raised in Plano, Texas. The majority of my days included creek walking in the neighborhood or baseball at the sandlot.

When I turned 9, I got my first tennis racket for Christmas, and from that point, I lived and breathed tennis while growing up. This gave me some great experiences with truly healthy competition. I also learned at an early age, that to be good at something, I have to devote myself completely to that thought with singleness of mind. I believe this is where I learned true dedication. I was the #1 player on the Plano Tennis Team in 1999, and ranked #8 in the State of Texas as a Junior Tennis Player with the USTA in the same year. Here is a pre-tennis era picture of me. When this picture was taken, I had my hands on a tasty peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I still get that satisfied look on my face when I get a chance to enjoy this rare delicacy.

Higher Education

After high school I attended two universities, Ouachita Baptist University and the University of Oklahoma. I played tennis at both schools, and believe it or not, Ouachita’s team was better than OU’s. Hooray for the little guy! I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in 2005. One of my favorite memories was going to OU football games. My fraternity always dresses in the white Superman shirts that you see in the stands, affectionately referred to as Stoop’s troops. Although involved in quite a few things on campus, the fraternity BYX (Brother’s Under Christ) was something that had the greatest influence in helping me seek the truth. If you’d like to know more, just ask. When summer hit after my freshman year, I had a chance to be a counselor to some great kids at Pine Cove. I was in charge of a cabin of boys ages 7-12 for a week at a time. The picture shows my first crew. I remember meeting young Patrick, and the first thing he said to me when we were huddling in our newly formed group was, “You’re new here.” Do you know what you’re doing?” I looked at him and said, “No, but I’m a quick study. Will you help me out?” He said, “I got your back “ Through that week, I got to share laughter and tears with him, and a knowledge of knowing how much God loves each and every one of us. He ended up being my favorite camper of the entire summer! Little did he know that those experiences with him and others changed not only my camper’s lives, but also my own.

Recent Favorite Books

Right now I just finished Golf’s sacred journey-Seven Days at the Links of Utopia. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes to play golf, or is feeling pursued by God in ways they can’t understand. The Search for Significance- This book is really good and might just change your perspective on life. You’ll have to read it to find out why!

Greatest Accomplishment

My greatest accomplishment was marrying my college sweetheart, Jessica Davidson.  She inspires me to pick myself up and keep walking when I'm bruised and dirty.

Role Models

Eric Liddell – (1924 Olympic Runner and Scotsman) I can sum it up in one of his quotes about why he ran. “God made me fast. And when I run, I feel his pleasure.”

Bret Hendrix - Bret was my high school tennis coach. His unorthodox methods were funny at times. We studied the different fuzzies on tennisballs one day while it was raining. But, no one could question his passion in his work, as he taught us more than just tennis. He taught me more about life than I could ever have imagined while spending hours practicing in the 100 degree Texas heat. When you want to excel at something, practice is like breathing - there is no alternative.

Why Real Estate?

I rebuilt a house in the “M Streets” of Dallas, TX. It was a remarkable experience and accomplishment, though not completely void of daily challenges. The house is located in one of the strictest historical districts in Dallas. Every nail just about had to be approved by a committee before my business partner and I could move forward. Many of my friends, jokingly and understandably, asked me if I still wanted to be in real estate after all the challenges I had been faced with. All the more to their astonishment, I told them it only made me want to work in Real Estate even more. This was because I relished the challenges that were faced on a daily basis. Here is the finished product. Now that the house is built, the next step for me has been to enter the field of residential real estate as an agent. I feel that God has blessed me with certain gifts, and I believe some of those gifts lie in taking care of people.  Real Estate is a great way to build long lasting friendships while providing a much needed and trustworthy service to friends.

My Personal Guarantee

I have extensive negotiating experience from my record in home building, and am equipped to go to bat for you in any real estate situation. I bring a hunger and passion to the table that is unmatched.

I understand that in an ever changing real estate market, one constant should be the trust and fiduciary responsibility of your agent.

If at some point, you are not completely satisfied with the effort and time I put in while taking you through the real estate process, you can cancel your written agreement with no penalty.

Respectfully,
Ryan Kirkpatrick
